Is New Bond Track by Paul McCartney?

Devilmaycare_us_2 We've come across the song "Devil May Care," which was obviously written for the new James Bond novel's theme song contest. Remarkably, this song sounds as though it were recorded by Sir Paul McCartney. Could it possibly be true? Check it out and see what you think.

MEET FAB FOREVER

Fabforever Fab Forever: A Musical History Tour, which features an all-star cast of some of the best Beatles performers out there, has extended its exclusive world premiere engagement at Fremont Street's Canyon Club inside the Four Queens Hotel and Casino in Downtown Las Vegas.
Award-winning producer Jerry Peluso, (who brought the internationally acclaimed Fab Four from obscurity to the stages of the Las Vegas strip) guarantees a spectacular time for all with a superstar line-up that will suspend disbelief for all Beatles fans. “I’ve been waiting for a show like this my whole life," enthuses Peluso. "Fab Forever not only looks and sounds exactly like the original lads from Liverpool, but they truly capture the spirit of The Beatles in concert.”
Actors / musicians Gary Gibson (John), Todd Rainey (Paul), Jimmy Pou (George) and Carmine Grippo (Ringo) are all recognized as amongst the top Beatles performers in the world.
Gary Gibson has been called the closest performer you will ever find to the late John Lennon. Elton John shared the stage with Gary and said, "You must be related." Tom Jones exclaimed, "I thought I saw a bloody ghost." But Gary's talent goes far beyond his incredible look. His voice, accent (real) and stage antics easily suspend disbelief for even the most ardent critic.
Left-handed Todd Rainey’s stunning vocal range and boyish good looks are so accurate that his portrayal of Paul McCartney is unmatched in the Beatles world. This young Michigan native truly is the envy of all other professional Beatles impressionists
After an exhaustive world search, Fab Forever turned to the USA's own Beatlemania alumni Jimmy Pou to supply the most visually stunning and vocally talented musician to fill the Beatle boots of the quiet and spiritual Beatle, George Harrison. Jimmy's effortless stage movements and detailed distinctive Harrison guitar style wows the audience into a standing ovation every show.
Anyone who has ever seen the L.A. based long-running Beatles show The MopTops will instantly recognize the extremely talented Carmine Grippo. Carmine's world-class drumming; jaw-dropping resemblance to Ringo Starr and incredible wit has even the hardest skeptics wondering if it really is Ringo!
Fab Forever: A Musical History Tour’s Las Vegas run will feature different Beatles songs and costumes each night. “The Beatles had such a vast catalogue of incredible music,” producer Peluso promises, “fans will never see the same show twice.”

MEET AMERICAN ENGLISH

Sp_group According to their official website, American English is simply the best Beatle tribute story of our time. At the inception of the band, they were voted “number one” by thousands of Beatle fans as winners of sound-a-like contests at Beatlefest® for three consecutive years. Their demand here and abroad, coupled with their spectacular fan base, anchored them into a professional setting, and launched them into larger venues and theatres worldwide.

The psychedelic Sgt. Pepper era of the Beatles  is recreated with incredible detail!

American English has shared the stage with musical headliners such as The Grassroots, The Neville Brothers, Three Dog Night, The Ides of March, Eric Burdon, The Buckinghams, The Doobie Bros., Badfinger, and many others.

With the band's increasing success, American English hit the international scene in 1999, making their debut in Tokyo. Their appearance hit the press and initiated a major article in the upscale Japanese magazine “Lightening,” causing “American English Mania” in Japan. The frenzied crowds in Tokyo reacted as though they were seeing the real thing!

In Aug. of 2000, American English invaded the Caribbean and appeared on every major television network in Puerto Rico. American English was truly a band on the run. Constantly pursued by television, radio, and newspapers, they stirred up the islanders like never before. As an added honor, The President of the House of Representatives, Carlos Vizcarrondo, invited the band to the capitol for a private meeting. The band made history by being the only American band to ever perform at the capitol.

In Nov. of 2000, American English awakened a major significant figure in The Beatle world. Sam Leach (the original Beatles promoter from Liverpool) was in town for a book signing for his story “Birth Of The Beatles”. After seeing American English, he has since called the band “The Beatles incarnate!” and is now back promoting and managing American English.

Under the wings of Sam Leach, American English was granted the honor never bestowed upon any other group. They traced the historic footsteps of The Beatles, and performed on the hallowed ground of several original Beatles venues including The Cavern Club in Liverpool.

In December of 2001, the band headlined the George Harrison tribute at the House of Blues in Chicago, where they were joined by several legendary Beatles/Wings related artists. This tribute was the first of its kind and the event made news headlines around the world. The band had the distinct honor to perform with the original Beatles drummer Pete Best!

Their crowning moment came in 2002, as they headlined International Beatle Week in Liverpool in front of a screaming crowd of 50,000 plus! To top it all off, American English recorded a concept album at the famed Abbey Road Studios in London. The fantasy album “What If”, features songs that might have ended up on the next Beatles record, had they stayed together in 1971?

American English is the only Beatle act to have ever performed concerts accompanied by Denny Laine, co-founder of Wings, and the original Wings horn section, featuring Howie Casey, Thaddeus Richard and Steve Howard. Recently, they have all joined forces to put on special concerts around the world. This unprecedented merging of talent begins with American English as The Beatles and closes with an incredible tribute to Paul McCartney and Wings. This unique and exclusive show entitled "Rock Show" is currently available to the public.

The fantasy lives on with these remarkable musicians who take the music to the highest level possible. American English is the closest you will ever get to reliving The Beatles. Whether you grew up with the Fab Four or not, this show will be your window to the past. Witness “The Complete Beatles Tribute” with American English!

WONDERWALL: TEARS OF JOY

THE MAKING OF "HELP"

The Beatles' first film A Hard Day's Night was a fictionalized day in the life of the band during the height of Beatlemania. Their second effort, Help, took an entirely different tact, offering up a plotline about a cult's pursuit of the ring that won't come off of Ringo's finger, and the misadventures that ensue. With Help being re-released on DVD this Tuesday, the timing seems right to take a behind the scenes look at its making.

FAB HEADLINES

Yesterday Thanks to the singing of Beatles songs in Across the Universe, according to Entertainment Weekly, actress Evan Rachel Wood is negotiating with Interscope Records for a recording contract… The Chicago Sun Times’ Miriam Di Nunzio enthused about the November 6th DVD release of Help (from Apple/EMI), “The film is being released in two versions, a two-disc standard set and a two-disc deluxe set. [Richard] Lester also directed the Fab Four’s debut, the black-and-white comedy A Hard Day’s Night… as much fun as the film is, the second disc boasts an hour of bonus footage, including a fascinating 30-minute making-of documentary, extended interviews with cast and crew and audio excerpts from the Beatles during press conferences on film locations…Copley News Service in reviewing Astrid Kirchherr and Max Scheler’s Yesterday: The Beatles Once Upon A Time (The Vendome Press), notes, “Anyone who knows their Beatles history will be familiar with the name Astrid Kirchherr: She was the young German photographer who was very much in on Hamburg’s Cavern club scene when the lads were starting out, eventually becoming engaged to the original bass player, Stu Sutcliffe. These photographs, taken in Liverpool in 1964 and later in London during the filming of A Hard Day’s Night, offer a rare, intimate view of the group as they moved toward superstardom. In the most candid of shots, they’re seen rehearsing, playing, performing, clowning, cooking, collaborating and visiting their parents – all effectively capturing the spirit of that particular yesterday. The glimpses afforded of grim city streets and claustrophobic, kitsch-filled sitting rooms show exactly what the Fab Four and their British fans were escaping from.”

FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE BEATLES

At the height of Beatlemania, it seemed as though musicians everywhere were trying to tap into a bit of the Fab Four's magic. Some offered up Beatlesque numbers of their own, while others needed to be satisfied with offering up parodies or novelty records. One of the most bizarre has to be "Frankenstein Meets the Beatles," which We Call This Music Fab had this incredible need to share.Fab_back

EXCLUSIVE: FAB MUSIC DOWNLOAD

THE UNCOMMON HOUSEFLIES: Zombie Clowns Ate Your Sister's Kitty The band Uncommon Houseflies is offering an exclusive free download of their song "Pastor Candy Canary" to listeners at We Call This Music Fab. A track from their album Zombie Clowns Ate Your Sister's Kitty, this track will be available exclusively on We Call This Music Fab until next Sunday night, August 19th.

"'Pastor Candy Canary' is actually based on a real person, a minister who is also a competitive body builder," explains Uncommon Houseflies' Kevin Gibson."I just thought the name was so singable, and that the character seemed like someone a song should have been written about for the album Abbey Road (in the vein of 'Polythene Pam,' 'Mean Mr. Mustard,' etc.), so I wrote the melody to match the name, and the lyric followed quickly. My friend and guitarist Kirk Kiefer helped me flesh out the song and played pretty much everything on the song -- ukulele, keyboards, guitar -- except bass and drums. He also did all the backing vocals. Luckily, he's an even bigger Beatles freak than I am, so he totally knew where to take it musically once we started recording. Oh, and by the way, I played the bass parts on a Hofner violin bass copy by Epiphone, just to make it as Beatles-y as possible." To download the song, just right-click on the music player below. And check out The Uncommon Houseflies at www.myspace.com/theuncommonhouseflies.
